Fundraiser: Defend Civil Liberties for Anti-War Activists

Since September, 2011, the homes and offices of 14 prominent anti-war activists have been raided by the FBI and 23 activists have been subpoenaed to stand before a grand jury. This effort to stifle antiwar and international solidarity speech is an attack on all of us.
Over $2000 dollars were raised at this fundraise. All proceeds were donated to the National Lawyers Guild Chicago
TWICE-MONTHLY MEETINGS
Please join us for our twice-monthly meeting on the second floor of the Beverly Unitarian Church 103rd & Longwood in Chicago - Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.
On the first Tuesday of the month SSFP has a Business Meeting to plan future events.
On the third Tuesday of the month SSFP hosts a Discussion Meeting devoted to one political topic of interest to the group.
One member makes a short presentation to start off the discussion.
